Do you take measurements on site?
We manufacture and deliver your windows. Outside Germany and Poland we do not take measurements on site: we manufacture to the dimensions and window schedule provided by you or your installer, and we check every detail with you (material, colour, opening type, glazing) before production starts. We call you back within 24 hours on business days. After that you receive a recommendation, a quote and a clear plan of the next steps. How long does it take from order to delivery?
From order to delivery it usually takes up to 4 weeks for uPVC windows, up to 5 weeks for aluminium and up to 8 weeks for timber windows. The exact date is stated in your quote. The windows are made to measure only after you accept the quote and pay the deposit, so the lead time depends on material, colour, glazing and the number of windows. We plan the delivery in advance and keep you informed at every stage.
How do I prepare my request?
For a precise quote we need your window schedule (dimensions of each opening, opening direction, material, colour, glazing) and, if available, plans or photos of the facades. Please also tell us which accessories you would like (roller shutters, window sills) and, for a new build, the construction stage. Finally, give us the delivery address and any access restrictions, such as a narrow road. You do not need to dismantle or prepare anything. Our adviser checks every detail with you before production.
Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver made-to-measure windows and doors to customers in Poland, Germany and other countries. We manufacture and deliver; installation is carried out by your installer or building contractor. Our headquarters is in Wrocław, Poland, so transport and the delivery date are planned in advance and agreed with you. Write or call us with your location: we check feasibility and reply within 24 hours on business days.
Do you install the windows?
Outside Germany and Poland we deliver your windows without installation. They arrive ready to install, with the manufacturer’s documentation, and your installer or building contractor fits them. We remain available to you and your installer for technical questions about profiles, fixings or adjustment, before and after delivery. Installation by our own teams is available only in Germany and Poland (fenedo.de, fenedo.pl).
Do you remove the old windows?
No. As we do not install outside Germany and Poland, removing the old windows is up to your installer or building contractor. Fenedo does not take back or recycle old windows. We can, however, advise you which dimensions to take when replacing windows, so that the new ones fit the existing openings well.
How does payment work?
Payment is made in three stages: a 60% deposit after you accept the quote starts production of your windows, 30% is paid before delivery and the remaining 10% after delivery and receipt of the goods. The amounts and due dates are set out in the quote and order confirmation before anything is ordered from the factory. You pay by bank transfer against an invoice. There are no hidden costs. Transport and accessories such as roller shutters or window sills are listed as separate items in the quote.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Windows and doors come with a 5-year product warranty. Your statutory rights apply in addition. You receive the warranty terms and the warranty card with the delivery. If anything needs adjusting or repairing, contact us by e-mail or phone and we handle your request promptly, depending on the availability of our service teams. As installation is carried out by your installer, the warranty on the installation work is provided by them.
Do you help me choose the right windows?
Yes, advice is part of our service. We discuss with you the material (uPVC, aluminium or timber), opening type, colour, glazing and thermal performance, as well as sliding patio doors, roller shutters and window sills. We deliver windows made in Poland on Salamander and Aluplast (uPVC) and Aluprof and Reynaers (aluminium) systems, CE marked. We match the solution to the building’s architecture, your budget and energy requirements. As standard we recommend triple-glazed windows with a Uw value of no more than 0.95 W/m²K. You receive one clear recommendation with a quote instead of dozens of variants. We also work with architects, building contractors and developers on the basis of plans.
Is the quote binding?
The quote does not commit you to buying. It is a free proposal with a price that you can take your time to consider or compare. An order only comes into being when you accept the quote and pay the deposit. From then on the price, scope and lead time stated in the quote are binding for both sides. The quote is valid for 14 days. After that we confirm it again, because factory prices can change. The price is based on the dimensions confirmed with you before production, so it does not change after you order.
